NAMI Family Support Group facilitators

Due to the circumstances of the current COVID-19 public health emergency, our NAMI Family Support Groups have been moved online. Please see changes listed below.

NAMI Family Support Groups will meet online at the times and dates below.

April 1: 7-8:30pm (regular meeting day for the Venice Group)

April 13: 6:30-8pm (regular meeting day for the Manatee Group)

April 16: 6:30-8pm (regular meeting day for the Sarasota Group)

April 21: 6:30-8pm

April 27: 6-7:30pm (regular meeting day for the North Port Group)

NAMI Family Support Groups – Sarasota, North Port, Venice and Manatee

If you have an adult family member living with mental illness, you are not alone. Join us for our peer-led Family Support Groups, held in four locations. They are free and confidential, and you don’t need to be a NAMI member to participate. By actively sharing in the work of the group, you can gain confidence in your ability to cope.

NAMI Family Support Groups, offered by NAMI Affiliates in communities across the country, are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family member can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges.
